Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort

Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort is only a 75-minute cruise across Moreton Bay by high-speed catamaran from Brisbane.  The resort is the perfect destination for guests seeking a unique adventure or nature based experience in a truly relaxed environment that is right on Brisbane’s doorstep!

The star attraction to the resort is undoubtedly the unique nightly hand feeding of a pod of wild Bottlenose dolphins, where overnight guests have the opportunity to wade into the water and feed the dolphins. During the months of June to October, visitors to the island can partake in whale watching tours, getting up close and personal with these gentle giants of the sea.

Surrounded by sub-temperate forest, visitors can enjoy the island’s crystal clear waters and partake in one of the adventure or nature based activities on offer.  The resort’s Desert Safari Tour allows guests the opportunity to participate in the exhilarating sport of sand tobogganing reaching speeds of up to 50km per hour! Other action packed things to do and see, include ATV quad biking tours, 4WD tours, parasailing, snorkelling and scuba diving.

An exceptional feature of every room at Tangalooma is a private balcony, many with bay and Glasshouse mountain views, all within 50 meters of the beachfront.  Accommodation at the resort includes 96 air-conditioned hotel rooms, 134 self-contained Resort units and 56 upgraded beachfront two-storey villas.
