Auckland offers both sheltered and rugged surf beaches, a harbor dotted with islands, large farm-like parks, reserves, bush-clad ranges and a skyline clearly showing the remains of many of the 48 extinct volcanoes on which the city is built.

In most flights arrive in the early morning hours so a good chance to take in an activity before checking in to your room, make sure to ask your agent for options!
