Another of the “musts” while in Adelaide is to visit Kangaroo Island, just a ½ hour flight south.  Kangaroo Island is one of Australia's best areas to experience Australian wildlife – in the wild!  If you have time, you must try to stay a night or two on the island.  You may also have the chance to walk amongst a permanent breeding colony of sea lions. 

There is so much to experience from Adelaide that this South Australian capital may warrant an entire vacation!  From here it is a small aircraft flight to visit "Coober Pedy", or to visit the wildlife and opals of the Broken Hill area and don't forget the Flinders Ranges!
